Okay so lets say you and a couple of other allies go in to conquer a enemy. All of you are on the battlefield. Instead of exiting out to private message them why not have a messenging thing at the bottom so every one can see. Then you talk to your enemies about a truce or just talking to them (:s1:). Also you could whisper to people so then you can make up strategies and stuff. You know then the battlefield would be a lot cooler. I am open to suggestions so yeah.(:s11:)(:s9:)

There was such a thing in the works but it seems they have recently removed the disabled icon from the tactics so maybe they have dropped the idea or something. In my eyes, I do not think the developers should waste time on communication means since there are many chat type services available for free that you and your allies can use. Skype is the main one I use every day to communicate with my fellow order members. there is an add-on that you can download to even have skype do automatic translations. Its just such more feasible that people should use these free services rather than request a very simple chat like was implemented in order page.

I agree that (free) external communication services are the better option here. It would be better to use the server capacity for the actual game. (:s11:)

Well I have to agree with coolguy21 having a tactic chat will be a good add, where you can communicate with various categories of players, for example, (:myself:),(:ally:) and (:enemy:), alike. Having an independent chat service mainly restrict communication to a small circle. In severs like Outremer, this idea of a chat window in tactic screen, will be a boon and boost to the game, IMHO.

Devs should deal with it, if there's a lag due to chat windows and data transfer (:s17:).

Well you dont have to talk out loud just whisper to allies. THey wont know(:s17:)
