So, my heroes are now so highlevel, that I'm actually adding healing as a skill.
Then it becomes painfully obvious that there are some errors, for exampe when I lose swordsmen and Pikemen, they get healed.
But my hero refuses to heal barbarians and swordbrothers.
I'd call that racism!! Fix it please?

Is it possible that the healing skill is not working for mercenaries at all?
I mean you say swordsmen and pikemen work, but two mercenary units don't.
It should work for all units, I agree with you.  |

Absolutely.
But all regular, "human" units should work, that's what I meant. I wasn't being precise enough.
