I have about 1000 gold but its not possible to for me to buy the pack.
There are no buttons to pres for buy. Is it because the price for the pack is over 1000 gold?
I can't see the price for it and there are also no prices for silver and gold pack.
Can anybody help

I believe you can't buy the newbie pack when you exit out of your first protection level (2 weeks from when you start). only option to you is the silver and gold after that point.

Solved the problem myself. In Crome there are no "buy" buttons, instead I tried IE and here I see the buttons - thanks for a super game.

Yes, but I meant what I said - I have played about 10 other games like this so far and this is one of the most complete and very well structured I have tried and with a very good gameplan as well. I have only played for 4 days but I'm fully satisfied so far. The tutorial is brilliant.
I'm a developer myself, although not within games but I can recognize a good piece of work when I see it :-)
But a developer is not all - actually it's the people who supports/helps the developer that really makes the difference.

just be forewarned, this game has a very steep learning curve. you will most likely lose a few battles before you win any and it may be because of a very small rule you did not know about or did but just forgot...just learn from you mistakes and move on...

Thanks for the warning :-) - I know I only have 10 days more before hell breakes lose - but actually I look forward to the challenge but I know I will need more help to survive - so await my next cry for help.
