to be fair i think livonian is a bit dry on the battle front just now(and usually is) from what i hear, crusade and beta are more battle prone, especially beta just now, its a constant bloodbath, bit crazy really, but then again a few months ago i heard crusade was like that

yeah for sure crusade has constant action, i have never played in it but i know from others that do
just beta is really battle intense just now, pretty much every player of any good size is fighting in a massive war

Yeah - there are plenty of battles. I can't seem to stay out of them any more.
However, the overall game pace is fairly slow, compared to a strategy game like AoE or something like that. But, when the swords start flying - watch out! It can all be over in a minute!
