My idea is to be able to join orders and non-vassal or order members into an alliance.
Like an order you can use member’s cities as jump points. You can attack from or aid to that city. There would be no leader only members. Each member slot would cost 1000 gold. The members if lords or masters of order can upgrade their membership slot to include there order members and vassals.
This could be a way to increase the mobility of allies and organized allied orders.

yea that would be good to.
A way to get all allied and other allied orders to be able to use each others cities to fight.

I like the idea.
I also like the order merger idea a lot. You can make someone be your vassal as it is. With this option, you can make another order get merged into yours.
