Combining multiple cities like you would the Military buildings? I don't know if this was mentioned before or if it is possible, but I just thought I throw that idea out and see what you thought.

I am curious... For what purpose? and how would one do that?
I mean you must have a certain idea when making such a suggestion...

lol Yes I do what I mean is like how the Barrack changes its look and the Stables and the Workshops It could also make it possible to have your troops automatically protect the cities where need but still suffer from the travel time. Basically its like Rome or other cities from that time period where their were several towns and cities joined together to form 1 big major city.

Granted you still have your individual city views but resource supplying, and troop movement become slightly faster in addition to the Tunnels.
I presume to believe though it would cost gold to do so 1000 gold 20,000 of each resource for the first time and 3000 gold and 40,000 of each resource the second time.

I understood that in first place. I was after information like this...
I don't know what to think of this idea. But I know one thing for sure:
1000 / 3000 is way too expensive for this. There would have to be more advantages if it will be this expensive. And as I think that advantages against gold are more then maxed in this game, I am know strongly against this idea.

lol I am only throwing out a rough Idea. I agree it is expensive how ever as it is merely cosmetic for the most I think its properly priced considering the price for generating your own coat of arms.

The thing is, coats of arms can't be captured. Towns can.
Maybe the time required to capture such a large metropolis could be increased?

Urathear, you mean you build a couple of towns and then merge them?
Like NYC? You know, it consists of boroughs: Manhattan, Queence, Brooklyn, The Bronx, etc...

Exactly Klara2 I think it would look awesome and serve a purpose which in the 1100 day and age their were places that had that sort of expansion. and I agree you'll need like 36-48 hours to capture the first lvl and like 4 city control points and scale it up from their for next level

Well, I like the idea. Not very realistic when you think of the Mediaeval Europe where you could count the major cities on the fingers of one hand and the rest were really large villages with castles prodded in the centre...
What really great cities did they have? Rome, Constantinople, Naples...
But ingame it should look fun.
Let's have it!

True Klara2 however back in 1100 ad they didn't have this many rulers or highly built up Cities and kingdoms either.
