This is a request to the mods.
I want to make a second account on the server that I am on to build statistics for the wiki. I understand that multi accounting is against the rules for the reason that people use it for their personal gain but I would only use it to build information on the wiki (Which I feel is lacking in very many aspects) This would be under the condition that I disclose all information and do not use the account for any gain under my other account. I feel that many more people would stick with this game if there were guides available to walk them through the issues encountered along the way. I want to use this account specifically on my server because the information I gather would benefit me as well as every other player. Im under the impression that features differ quite a bit from server to server. (This would be disclosed in any wiki guides.) If possible I believe this could benefit the 1100AD community quite a bit but I dont want to risk the account that I have to get this information by violating your ToS... Let me know if your willing to let this fly |

First, us moderators are players just like you, we are not employed to mod the forums, we just like helping players and the 1100ad community.
It would be best if you can open an account on another server and use that account to test with. however, since most servers are not similar, this could give you false info. having 2 accounts on the same server is technically against the ToS. I suggest researching the current wiki and forums and asking question on the forums. you might also want to consider becoming a vassal. your lord should help you with the basics. |

Here is a link to a thread where this was discussed and answered: http://www.1100ad.com/forum/view/29593/last#btm You may have to pay a tax to your lord (consisting of glory points, or gold or ressources). Your lord on the other hand usually supports you in many ways, too. You will get the ability to hire certain special mercenaries (depending on the camps your lord owns), most lords offer help in in-game questions, some may support you in battles and deliver ressources to you, so you can grow faster. |

Well, you will lose most of your newbie protection if you become a vassal. you should try to build as much as you can in the first few weeks. from there, start searching through the statistic's page for a order you may like to join. most main orders like to make you a vassal to another order member so that you can learn and get stronger. after some time, if you prove yourself strong enough and knowledable enough, they they should let you join their order and continue playing at a higher level. be careful though, most top 20 players are very competive and as such offer little time/merc to their vassals. high ranked does not always mean better for your fun.

I understand.
Im all about numbers when it comes to this sort of game. Finding those numbers and the math that the game uses to make decisions makes all the difference. I can find plenty without a second account. I dont see the point in learning about another server because I am perfectly happy with this one (Unless a new server opens up at a later date) Thank you for your time. |

I suppose this would be better placed in the 'help' forum but I dont want to spam topics all over the place.
I am unable to log into the wiki and my understanding is that its should run off of the same account as is used for the forums and game. The only 'create account' page on the wiki is also the log in page and interestingly enough theres no 'create account' button. I suspect that theres something very obvious that I am missing but I feel unable to log in and publish new pages to the wiki and could use some guidance. |
